The engineering and consulting company Elomatic earned record turnover – the future also looks bright

Elomatic’s turnover increased to 102 million euros during the financial year of 2022. The drivers of the 30% growth were Elomatic’s solutions for coping with the energy crisis and a wider demand for planning and consulting services for the green transition.

Elomatic’s result for 2022 shows that the coronavirus pandemic is almost over: the turnover reached a historically high level of 102 million euros and the profit was 8%. The number of employees at the company increased to 1,300.

“The ongoing energy crisis is reflected in our turnover, as we offer solutions to the challenges caused by it, but there are also other factors contributing the positive development. We gained new customers and our operation in Canada grew significantly,” says Patrik Rautaheimo, CEO of Elomatic.

The operation volumes grew especially in marine and offshore energy business. In addition to organic growth, in 2022, Elomatic founded a subsidiary in Germany focusing on the marine industry, and a company in Slovenia that designs clean rooms for the pharmaceutical industry.

“The past year was significant because we invested heavily on sustainable development and especially in fossil-free energy production. The operations of our project development company for green hydrogen products, Green North Energy, progressed well, and we have had the opportunity to help our customers in many sustainable development planning projects”, says Rautaheimo.

This year, Elomatic’s goal is to reach over 20% growth. The competence of employees is good and the possibilities for continuing growth appear promising. The need to hire new experts is continuously increasing.
