Elomatic concentrates further on the focus areas of new strategy: two paper machine design entities to Etteplan

Design and consulting firm Elomatic has agreed with technology company Etteplan on the transfer of two product design entities. Both are related to paper machine design.

Elomatic Oy and Etteplan Oyj agreed on May 31, 2024, on the transfer of two product design entities. 13 people and all customer contracts concerning these product entities will transfer from Elomatic to Etteplan.

Elomatic’s intention is to sharpen its operations and focus on other areas of green transition according to its updated strategy.

“We have accumulated decades of experience and high-level capability in paper and board machine design in-house. It is great that these experts now find a new home as we are updating our strategic focus areas,” says Elomatic’s HR Director Marja Salenius-Ranki.

“Etteplan has invested significantly in paper machine design expertise in Finland, Sweden, Poland, and China over the years. The agreement now concluded with Elomatic further strengthens Etteplan’s expertise in paper machine design and its related documentation. I warmly welcome the personnel transferring from Elomatic to Etteplan,” says Riku Riikonen, Director of Etteplan’s Engineering Solutions service area.
