Elomatic strengthens its position as an expert in the energy sector: energy business consultancy Elron joins the group
Engineering and consulting company Elomatic has expanded its range of services and acquired Elron Oy, a pioneer in project development and transaction advisory in the energy sector. Elron has specialized in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and project development in the energy sector, especially in relation to wind power production in recent years. With the acquisition, Elomatic is able to serve its customers even more comprehensively and accelerate green transition projects in accordance with its mission.
On September 15, 2023, Elomatic acquired the entire share capital of Elron Oy. The deal complements Elomatic’s broad expertise, especially within the energy business, as Elron specializes in consulting on M&A transactions and project development in the energy sector. Recently, the primary focus of Elron’s activities has been on wind power projects, but district heating and hydrogen projects, for example, are equally part of the company’s core areas of expertise.
Elomatic’s mission is to focus on solutions that improve environmental and human wellbeing. Through the acquisition, Elomatic can advance its mission even more effectively, for example in connection with the launch of wind power projects. Green transition investments are needed in Finland and other parts of the world, and promoting them requires competence in finance and business models.

Elron will continue to operate as its own business development unit, and its project development and financial advisory services will be delivered in the future both as separate projects and as part of Elomatic’s solution package.
